Full Advisory Text
Warning Description: Winter Weather Advisory

Warning Date: 10:03 PM CST on February 8, 2010

WarningSum:...Winter Weather Advisory Remains In Effect Until 6 Am Cst
Wednesday...

Warning Message:A Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 6 am CST
Wednesday.
* Timing...snow will continue to overspread south central
Wisconsin overnight. The snow is then expected to persist
  through Tuesday evening.
* Snow accumulations will range from 6 to 9 inches by late Tuesday
night. The heaviest snow should fall Tuesday.
* East winds of 5 to 15 mph will turn to the north to northeast
and increase to 15 to 25 mph on Tuesday...with gusts to 30 or
35 mph Tuesday afternoon and evening. These increasing winds
will cause blowing and drifting snow Tuesday afternoon and
  Tuesday night.
* Impacts...a dry powdery snowfall will accumulate overnight and
Tuesday morning resulting in deteriorating travel conditions.
Blowing and drifting snow will continue to cause hazardous
travel conditions Tuesday afternoon and Tuesday night. The
blowing snow may reduce the visibility to one half mile in open
  areas.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Winter Weather Advisory for snow and blowing snow means that
visibilities will be limited due to a combination of falling and
blowing snow. Use caution when traveling...especially in open
areas. Be prepared for snow covered roads and limited
visibilities...and use caution while driving.
